Learn to surf at the stunning Soldiers Beach on the NSW Central Coast with Surfing Australia Accredited coaching staff with years of surfing and coaching experience.
We run classes for complete beginners through to advanced for all ages and abilities. Our lessons are focused on having fun while learning to surf in a safe environment.
Group Learn to Surf Lessons are held on Monday to Sunday on all days except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
We cater for mixed kids groups, adults, all-ladies groups, hens and bucks parties, corporate groups, school groups and private tuition.
Standard group lessons are usually 1 coach to 6 students however the Surfing Australia maximum is 1 coach to 8 students. Our lessons times may vary due to the ocean/ weather conditions. Soft top surfboards and rash shirts are provided.
Casual visit group cost: $65.
Casual visit private cost: $90 p/h

competition & HIGH PERFORMANCE training

Our high performance coaches can take your surfing and competition performance to the next level with a range of coaching programs for advanced surfers.
​
Our coaching staff use video analysis, photography, dry land training along with competition strategy and preparation to help you excel in the water.
​
All Surf Coaching High Performance staff are Surfing Australia accredited with extensive surfing experience.

where to meet
Lessons are held at Soldiers Beach, Norah Head. We ask all surfers and parent/ guardians to meet at the Soldiers Beach Surf Club on the grassy area out the front (overlooking the beach).

There are three large free public carparks in the immediate area. There is also daytime access to public toilets and showers. Pending the opening hours, there are also two cafe's in the immediate area.

what to bring
Lessons include a soft-top surfboard and rash shirt if required. Please bring appropriate swimwear, towel, sunscreen and water bottle. Spectators may want to bring additional seating and shade if required.
