This full Term program ABOUT NHSC is committed to providing services that benefit the health and wellbeing of our community. Aiming to bring people together for long lasting surfing friends and creating great experiences. Norah Head Surf Coaching coaches have relevant certificates and qualifications to provide these services as per NSW Government, Surfing Australia and Sports Australia requirements. NHSC holds the relevant insurance and permits to provide this service. NHSC is committed to operating according to industry safe work practices and regularly assess and modify NHSC risk assessment and Safety plans to provide the best service for our participants. Surfing location is at Soldiers Beach. Duration: 90 Minutes water time (approx.) Registered Active Kids provider. Save $100 on your 8 week booking with an Active Kids voucher. https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-active-kids-voucher This surfing program is aimed at progressive learning in a supporting and save environment. Participants learn the skill of surfing, about the ocean, make new friends and having fun. We supply; Wetsuits Boards and rashies Students need to bring their own towel. Change poncho hoodie towels are recommended. NHSC creatures of leisure hoodie towels are available to purchase $49.95 via website or sms 042080485 for details. Kids are always accompanied by an instructor. The group will enter and exit the water together. Alternative activities will be scheduled if surf is dangerous – rescues, paddling techniques, beach activities, beach walks showing the dangers of rips and waves, checking different beaches for swell directions and environmental impact. Surfing Lessons times may vary week to week to accommodate conditions and tides. There are limited numbers available.
