Service Description
Full day Holiday Surf Camp is fun surf coaching clinic located at the beautiful Soldiers beach, Central Coast NSW. Get the kids off the ipads! Camps run during school holidays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm every Monday and Thursday. Cost $120 per day per student. Parents drop the kids off at 9am and pick them up at 3pm. The meeting point is @ Soldiers Beach bottom carpark in front of the surf club. Open to beginner and intermediate students with kids generally 8- 14 years of age. These programs are designed for students that want to learn to surf and parents that need to work through the holidays that want to give their kids a great experience. Surfing Lessons are a great long term investment as once you've learnt you have a free activity to do for life! HUGE amount of fun, getting them ripping, meeting new friends & learning about staying safe in the ocean. Registration booking form must be completed online through the booking system. Participants are to bring a packed lunch being mindful of friends with allergies. Surfing lesson times vary depending on the day as we try to schedule beginner lessons closer to low tide to ensure its easier to stand. The full day program includes the following but will be ordered based on tides and ocean conditions; 2 x 1 hour surf lessons 1 hour Smooth star Skateboarding training 🛹 Surfers rescue education Beach games Waterfall bush walk at the palms @Frazer Rock Pools swimming Extreme conditions we will be going to one of the following alternative activities (NHSC covers entry fee) parents can choose on the day if they would prefer a refund or reschedule. Bungee fitness Mingarah whirlpool Inflatable world Revolution park (Newcastle) Please bring; Lunch (sandwich, fruit, biscuits, and a drink) HOODIE TOWEL (essential for privacy when getting changed) Hat Swimmers. Skate shoes/socks Wet bag Change of clothes Wetsuit (optional) We provide; Surfboards Wetsuits Rash Shirts Smooth star Skateboards Protec Helmets Protec skateboard pads Bus transfers Entry into alternate activity severe weather option. Our programs are run in conjunction with Surfing Australia’s Safe Surfing Program and the NSW Education Department Risk Assessment guidelines. We can still do our lesson when it's raining. In extreme weather conditions, alternative indoor activities will be offered @ no extra charge & changes to the scedule will be advised as early as possible and emailed to parents.
